CAMServ Sierra Leone Ltd Boosts Ebola Fight

As efforts continue to be made to enhance the fight against the Ebola outbreak, CAMServ Sierra Leone Limited, a consulting and marketing organization, as part of their effort to intensify the fight against Ebola donated to President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma at State House, five hundred Jonsson Boots approved by WHO standards, two buses and one pick up jeep for the Burial team in Lunsar.

President Koroma described the intervention as pivotal in the fight against the dreadful Ebola scourge. He stated that the donation will go a long way in filling the gaps and addressing the logistical challenges faced in the fight against Ebola. “It gives us a lot of hope when Sierra Leoneans like you are responding to a national call of building a new Sierra Leone.” The President continued that it was very encouraging as this will restore hope to young Sierra Leoneans in building a new country.

Speaking on behalf of CAMServ Sierra Leone Ltd, Mr. Kofi Macauley said that the donations were made to address some of the challenges faced by the health workers in performing their duties particularly concerns raised by nurses and doctors at the Connaught Hospital. This, he said necessitated the provision of the two buses to address the transportation issue. He said that as part of their effort in this fight, they will also be responsible for the provision of drivers for the vehicles and maintenance of the vehicles as well.

Mr. Macauley informed the President that the pickup jeep for the burial team had been given to WECARE, an organization in Lunsar to address that aspect of the fight. Mr. Macauley is of the firm belief that if Sierra Leoneans can only come together and do “our own bit, it will be a step in the right direction to win the fight”.
