‘Illegal to Detain Persons Without Court Order’

[Concord]The Sierra Leone Prisons Department says it would be a breach of the human rights principles to detain people at the Pademda Road maximum prisons or any other detention facility under the prisons service across the country without a valid court order, as such conduct would be illegaland contrary to the Prisons Ordinances of1960.
