Sierra Leone Sympathizes With Nigeria

President Ernest Bai Koroma paid a one day visit to the Federal Republic of Nigeria where he expressed his personal sympathy and solidarity, and that of the Government and People of Sierra Leone to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the mayhem taking place in the country.

President Koroma further pledged his personal support and that of the Government and the people of Sierra Leone, adding that Sierra Leone will always support Nigeria in times of need.

Paying tribute to the pivotal role Nigeria played in resolving the conflict that afflicted Sierra Leone in the early 1990s and 2000s, President Koroma maintained that Sierra Leone will stand with Nigeria during these trying times.
